While I generally enjoy Pamela’s brand cookies, and have recommended them to people, I didn’t enjoy these cookies very much. The lemon flavor needs to be wnhanced more, perhaps with candied lemon zest. The texture was my least favorite part. The cookies were entirely too cake-y And they would never hold up to a glass of milk. Pamela’s other shortbread cookies have a much better texture, so I don’t understand how they messed up on this cookie flavor. While I will not purchase this cookie type again, unless the formula is changed, I will continue to eat, purchase and recommend the other Pamela’s cookies.
