Gluten-Free Honey Nut Chex have been found on Maui. I bought a box at Foodland in Pukalani as a special gift to myself. They were $5.39 per box. The other flavors, besides the plain Rice Chex, were not gluten-free and they were more expensive.

This morning I ate cereal for breakfast with soy milk. Honey Nut Rice Chex are pretty good for a cereal, but there’s not a lot of flavor to them. I’ll munch them for a snack, or have them again for breakfast. I think they have more flavor without any liquid added to them. They have more of that honey Cheerio flavor when eaten dry.

If you’re a cereal person, Chex is an option especially if you need more for your dollar. But, if you can splurge a little more then you might consider going with organic cereals for the eco-friendly benefits.
